    Cooler Policy answer... and grills

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I sent an email late Fri. I believe about the cooler policy and grill policy.
    Here's the response.

Raceway Park allows coolers containing food and/or non-alcoholic beverages within their gates - they do perform trunk checks. There are no alcoholic beverages sold at Waterfest.

It is Raceway Park’s policy not to allow grills.

    Thanks,

    Dan Bohrmann

    Waterfest Event Director
Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to sneak anybody in inside my trunk.

Ruh roh.... what's gonna happen with the bbq!!!!! I swear some girls were sitting in exhibition last year and asked my friends and I if we wanted to hang and eat some burgers.. For some reason, my friends wanted to turn down girls and red meat... I think because it was like 110 outside and we had been baking in the sun for 5 hrs and they were bitching about leaving...

I think that they mean like larger propane grills. Last year I saw many people with small charcoal grills making burgers & dogs.

They sure did. Damn that "Devil's Music" LOL.. With a large group, I'm sure we break a few rules to feed ourselves. But I would definetly keep the Beer, Booze etc, hidden till you get in and setup.

Re: Cooler Policy answer... and grills

I rolled in w/ my cooler in plain sight and they didn't even ask if I had anything in it.

I know I saw plenty of people drinkin, obviously they haven't had any big issues with it so far, and thanks to you guys for not causing any problems.

Yeah the cooler thing was pretty funny.. I saw people with coolers strapped to the their roofs... one guy had the trailer with the stand up grill and like 3 coolers.. I think it is just a way to keep things to a minimum. I know our coolers were full of goodies for all.. good stuff.. :)
