    Epoxy Removal?

Hey guys i ran into a small problem. A while back when i was washing my car in the winter at the car wash(not the automatic, the diy spray kind) my rings on my trunk fell off. Ive waited til it got warmer out to try and use epoxy to put the rings back on. When i did it after the epoxy was suppose to be dry it started falling and smeared epoxy all over the area. Does anyone know how to remove epoxy without ruining the surface???

    ouch.

I know that you can clean epoxy if not dry with Final Wash. But since it's all dry now, I'm not sure if there's something strong enough without harming the clear.

I'll let someone chime in, but otherwise I rather wet sand the area than using a chemical that can harm my clear.

Sounds like either way your going to harm the clear around it...even you use a harsh chemical and get it on the existing clear coat, its going to ruine things. Try nail polish remover, but just on the Spot where the expoxy is...use a Q-Tip. If that doesn't work, wet sand it. If you dont know how to do that...take it to a professional that does...goodluck!
