    OZ Ultras- durable?

Never been a fan of the OZ Ultras despite the price and lightweight. Saw them in person today, though, and I was impressed. As with most things, pictures do not do them justice. Curious how durable they are given the cheap price.

As of now, 18x8.5 BBS CHs are at the top of my list, but the idea that I could get lighter 19" OZs (WITH TIRES) for the same price is enticing.

    Re: OZ Ultras- durable?

I never understood this whole "softness" dealio since any rim will bend if you hit a pothole the right way.

    Re: OZ Ultras- durable?

i guess it all depends on how you drive and whether you choose to hit the pot holes or not. any wheels will crack or bend when you hit a pot hole good enough. I have been running OZ wheels for several months now, no problems
just go with it, you will love it and you will notice the gas mileage improvements.

    Re: OZ Ultras- durable?

I have the OZ Ultra's and I bent two over the winter. The roads out here are crappy but I never recalled hitting any major bumps. I happened to wash my car one weekend and saw one front wheels bent and the other cracked. I replaced them but just ordered a new set of wheels to replace them all as I think they are too soft for the roads out my way.
