i plan on upgrading my turbo to a gt2871r, this is what was recommended by a reputable source.

    manifold
    GT2871R .48ar T3 w/ internal gate and actuator
    oil feed line kit
    oil return line kit
    GT restrictor
    coolant line kit
    oil pan adapter kit
    oil return flange kit
    3" SS DP
    3" inlet piping set
    630cc injector set
    intank fuel pump kit
    mounting stud kit
    ctapp software 93oct/meth

Price - $3865. Im just wondering if there is anything here that i dont really need to cut down the price some.

Ya bc you need all that. You are also missing a fpr. I'd also recommend a mbc/ebc.

Re: OK so is this a little overkill?

ctapp uses a 90mm (4" i believe) maf housing, and as far as prices go im not really sure how much each piece costs, it was just a kit price that i had pieced together for me. I am thinking about switchig to a t25 flange with internal wg, if anyone knows the cheapest place to buy some of the parts on that list let me know...the cheaper, the better.

Re: OK so is this a little overkill?

yeah, go with the .64, seriously. Also, the t3 flange on that turbo would be odd, t25 is more than sufficient. Also, i would suggest contacting 034 and getting a complete oil and coolant line kit form them. it will be easier and cheaper then sourcing out the parts separately.

if i where you i would o with an elim if you alredy have a pc-16 file, you will be saving yourself a big headache. then all you need is a HFC and bigger exhaust to bolt it in, not a new manifold, oil and water lines, exhaust, rework your intake and rework your FMIC piping. Dont forget a wideband

i love my open dump on my last a4.

i have a used atp t25 cast manifold. I did not see it listed in your list. I'll sell it to you cheap...they are like $400 bucks new. I'll sell it for $150 plus shipping and it has a waste gate block off plate.

This is the best advice if price is an issue.
Other than that i would buy it as a kit because after wasting time and paying for the misc shipping cost you are right back to square one.

Save a few hundred bucks and get a gtrs elim kit and tapp tuning and sell your old hardware and you will be happy.
