Where to go to get tint removed?

I got a tint ticket and need to get it corrected but I don't want to remove the tint myself, any recommendations on where to go?

First make sure your ticket is marked correctable. If it isnt, then its just a fine. No need to remove the tint.
If it is correctable, then its easy to do yourself. Razor blade, windex and about 30 mins.

Razor a slit and grab both layers and pull slow. Remove in big chunks if possible. Razor the remaining off. Once the tint is all off, windex the hell out of the window, let is sit for about 30-45 secs and then razor all the sticky shit off.

If youre really not wanting to do it yourself, just call up any local tint place. Anywhere can remove front tint.

yea i took off my friends tint the same way. it's not too hard. I i thought you could just pay fix-it tickets off but maybe i'm wrong

easiest to buy "tint removal" spray from pep boys, auto zone, etc. park in the sun.

spray the remover on the window. cover the window with a trash bag. let it sit for about 30 minutes. should peel right off, glue and all.

tint plus: laguna hills, ca but $10 to get removed and they do a great job when they do slap it back on!

Im not sure if im reading wrong but... They charge $10 to take off BUT you will have to buy new tint. I do not believ there is tint out there that is reusable... Either way they are the best i have found when it comes to quality work. good luck!

probably 10$ to remove. and another like 60 - 80 to reapply new tint. tint is not useable so ya. just remove it urself. unless u can find urself a packaged deal of removal and re apply.

Depending on the place you bought it from, you may be able to go back and have the dealer pull it off. The argument is the car was non-compliant with CA laws and the dealer should not have sold it in that manner...worked for me and a few co-workers. Of course, if your dealer is far away, it may not be worthwhile.

I just got a ticket for window tint and no front plate tonight. Just fucking great......me and the wife were going to Lawry's for our 8th anniversary, and this dumb fuck CHP had to pull me over in less than 5 miles from my destination. And it took him over 10 fucking minutes to write that fucking ticket.

Anyways, he fucking marked "No" on the window tint on my ticket, but he told me to get that fixed before the due date. WTF??? Also, is it really illegal to tint the entire rear window? Do I have to cut out the area for the fucking 3rd brake light? He fucking cited me for that also. It looks fucking retarded if the tint is cut for the 3rd brake light.

BTW, this was in the Audi.

What a dick!.... No it's not illegal to have any of the rear windows tinted only the front. Sorry man.... Ive gotten that ticket twice in the past 2 years, but I have a euro plate instead of no plate n still got busted. I then give them the finger n just pay the fine because I love the way my ride looks and its def. worth it for me to keep my tint, I have 5% (limo tint all around). If its not correctable then just pay the fine n keep the tint on ( not worth the hassle)
