    Reliable, German, Performance = Exsist?

Can someone help me out with a year range, make and model of a German performance car that does NOT come along with quirks, headaches and repairs galore? I'm curious to see if it even exsists...

stg3 S4 is problems in my eyes but to each his own, I was going to suggest that MK4 R32's are pretty damn reliable from what I've heard, and they can be balls fast.

Re: Reliable, German, Performance = Exsist?

Any budget? If not, just get any German car with a warranty. If you do that, you'll always be put up in a rental of that specific brand. Problem solved...lol.

Most German cars are performers, but for the most part reliability is subjective to the owner.

My B5 S4 has 150k miles on it, and I've spent only $1000 in maintenance, in the 30,000 miles I've owned it. Suck on that!

the '04-'05 A4 has excellent consumer ratings with very few mechanical problems overall. '02-'03 was terrible, but Audi finally got it right for the final B6 years.

oh wow yeah you got me..no actually anything thats stage 3 is sick, but a problem in my eyes. And they can be fast, they just need to be modified which once again can make reliability a problem.

Aud is currently ranked 10 on initial quality survey with JD Power. This is based on what owners deem as problems whether actual service visits or design flaws. The #1 complaint was cruise control location.

Get a warranty....I'll say it again, get a warranty! When something happens you won't dread heading to the dealership and you won't have to be worried about whether they are trying to screw you out of money or not.

lol find me a post where I say anything like audi is not reliable but BMW wheew they are just the best. For christ sakes I dont even belong to a bmw forum, I think the most I've ever said is that I seem to have more trouble with my audi then my bmw's.thats just my experience.

If you've ever been to the avant section I have multiple threads/posts about how all I want/love right now is an B5 S4 avant, and btw I love my avant..so I hope that makes you happy.

Warranties will steady your financials, but then you are limited on mods. << Best option if everything you try to fix turns out comicly bad.

Just get the most car for your money and pad the budget for repairs. When you've got wrench talents, ownership becomes not a balance sheet but a journey.

go waste your time finding the posts if that makes you happy, I don't give a fuck, I still own an Audi and DD it, if I really hated the car I would have gotten rid of it. And I'm sure you've heard enough big man.

Maby you guys seem to trash BMW so much beucase your screatly in love with them or something. But really you guys gotta chill out. both audi and bmws are great cars, anyone that says other wise is in denial.

a4=not performance+my b6 was terrible never seen a car that everything on it broke.
As for reliable german car LOL. I would say the most reliable one would be an Opel Astra(aka saturn astra red line) when it comes out. Honestly the most reliable German cars are the non performance models i.e TDI,2.slow ABA(jetta, golf), But really a Porsche 911 is reliable
I've been Audiless for a while but one of my DD will get replaced by an A3.
