    Boost Guage Install?

    I just received my VMR Boost gauge. Looks great and fast shipping just doesn't have instructions. Anyone have any write ups?? TIA

    I would for the most part follow AWE's instructions. That is until VMR gets theirs up and going.

    AWE is great but the 120 dollars i saved by not going for the AWE Boost Gauge is going towards the AWE BT Kit!!!

    They are all pretty much the same depending on how your gauge is mounted. Here is the DIY I followed from Podi when I installed mine http://podi.ca/Installation.aspx

    I've even taken phone calls in the office, and on my cell phone when I am not there, to help people with their installs. Hopefully I can get this DIY done this week, and it'll cut most of those phone calls down, since the guide is very thorough and has lots of pictures.

    I just got my VMR boost gauge, will be doing the installation and write up with pictures this Wednesday alongside GlassandPowder at the Tysons gtg spot. This gauge looks so sweet and polished, i cant wait to get it installed!

    What are yall using to actually wire up the gauge? I want to install my buddies podi and dont know what to use. On my B6 I used solder

    I think that's a first...3 years later and the thread gets bumped. I didnt have to solder shit. Just spliced some wires and thats it. I spliced into the middle vent. Incase you never noticed it has lights, so if you tap into those it will light up :)

    IMO a boost gauge is a boost gauge....i opted for the vmr one myself, not because of the price but because it didnt have any logos on it and it looked more OEM...when i installed mine i just called vmr and then emailed me the instructions within 5 minutes. I was content

    the concept of the install is extremely simple- but it took me a while to complete the install because i had trouble feeding the vacuum line through the firewall..but once you feed the hose, its simple from there
