stock exhaust size/cutout?

I have an 02 1.8t ,and i want to put an exhaust cutout on it and i would like to know what size is the pipe after the cat/downpipe. And to anyone that did this what size cutout and y pipe did u get for the 1.8t?

hhmm its pointless , get 2.25 or 2.50 testpipe+downpipe then add the cutt out

i have a test/down pipe on order i was just curious about the stock down pipe , the only thing i need to find is non foulers for the sensor anyone know where the best site for that is?

i have my DMH Cut-out for 3-4 months now , works like a charm and i used it pretty offenly

Get the testpipe and down pipe and install the cut out on the bottom of the downpipe. and go with the same size cutout as down pipe you get. You could also do it the cheap way buy just installing it on the stock piping but you will not get the sam epeformance out of it.

And i can only speack for QTP and i can tell you that if installed in a good location you should never have a problem. but make sure that it will not hit the body of the car or the ground.
Also QTP makes the best one with the strongest motor.
