    Re: rolling

Looks like you had fun and a very nice area to take a drive. It's good to see people still do it with today's gas prices.

I have a few quick questions if you don't mind. Do you have the HP2 brakes? I do on my 2000 and want a set of wheels. I love the look of the R6 and the RS6 wheels and wouldn't mind a set. I just don't know if they'll clear my brakes. Are those 18's? What springs did you use to drop it. Looks killer!

    Thanks
    Dave

it is tough to get out there with gas prices the way they are. but, i can afford it every now and then. we covered a lot of miles. but had a good time.

i've got an 02. so, no hp2's for me. i've got 18" high-clearance hartmann rs4 reps. i'm happy with them. they should clear hp2's. give hartmann a call they are very friendly. i'm running kw variant 2 coilovers.

    thanks for the comps.

thanks frank. yeah, the boxster is lacking cosmetically. but, it's a track car. mechanically it's sound. very fun little car.

i have not run the m3. i have driven it on my local "test track" . compared to my car, it's obviously more nimble. but, it can get away from you in a hurry. also, not my cup of tea. i'm not into convertibles. and, the smg was nice to try. but, i prefer a clutch.
