Car Trembling

I dont know what happened to my car. When I turn on the ignition, the car start trembling. It's very obvious that is unnormal. My car has just 13k miles on it and no accident happened before. What may be the problem?Any ideas?

Is the CEL on? It could be a coil pack.

What is the trembling like? Is the rpm going up and down? Do you have a boost guage installed? If the rpm's are fluttering you may have a vacuum leak somewhere, but a big one like a hose completely popped off. If its a small trembling then you're gonna have to explain more. Either way we need more detail than "Help my car is shaking!!" Know what I mean?

if its only a slight vibration i've had this happen before. i just turned off my car and turned it back on and it went away. its also gone away after driving a minute or two.

I've had a lot of vibration on mine for a while. I noticed it happens when it is in drive and my foot is on the brake and only when a/c is on. when i turn it off the vibration stops. very weird

welcome to direct injection. having an auto will make things more pronounced. if its extreme, then take it in for service.

In my case, the vibration is big when turn on the A/C, I can actually feel the difference from small to big. When I'm in "P' or braking before a light, the car still vibrate even I dont press the gas pedal. My car is a auto.

you SHOULD feel the slight vibration while stopped at a light and the automatic is in drive or sport or tiptronic. you SHOULD NOT really feel it when the car is in PARK. some cars are worse than others. find another A4 and compare. or goto your dealer as youre under warranty

I already scheduled an appointment to the dealer. Do you guys know anything about the warranty? I didn't buy the Audicare plan, so will the cost cover by the warranty?

Let me know what you find. I've taken mine to the dealer probably over 10 times for it among other things and they don't do anything for me. They say, "Our diagnostics show it's fine, goodbye" rather than actually fix the problem. Mine feels like a massage chair at idle.

The last B7 A4 loaner I had was a tip and ran very rough. My MT6 runs very smooth.
