    Cool The four-door Porsche...

My PCA chapter hosted an AutoX yesterday inviting the BCCC for a Porsche vs. Corvette event. There were three of us running other marquees but as a PCA member, I pledged my allegiance with my "four-door Porsche". Enjoy the pics.

Totally agree, though I'm willing to live with the looks if it's a GT3.

Thanks! BBS RCs. They're an older model but they have the right width (8.5"), offset (ET32) and weight (18.5 lbs.) for track.

    Re: The four-door Porsche...

Red: You mean for a 993 or a Carrera? The car has a new clutch that is still being broken-in and worn tires. Not only could I damage the clutch with hard acceleration but I wouldn't have the traction I need to be competitive.

Speed: Great! out of 21 Porsches and 22 Corvettes, I was beat by 12 Porsches, including two GT3s and four dedicated race cars, and six Corvettes.

    Ice: Falken Azenis RT-615s.

Thanks man. The car is setup with Vogt coils, RS4 sway and sticky tires which go a long way in AutoX. I'm still learning to drive aggressively with Quattro and a turbo but so far so good.

I would check out www.rennlist.com, www.pelicanparts.com and your local PCA chapter and post on their forums. I LOVE duck tails!!!
