will my doors automatically lock?

one time, i unlocked my car but i never went to open the car door, i was still 3-5 meters away from my car the whole time, then the car just locked itself again after 5-10 minutes.

Mine locks itself, but that can be because of the VAG-com mod I had done to it.

Had a friend who had a self locking mod (per se) on a different vehicle. One time he threw the keys on the seat and closed the door to talk to some other friends. Next thing you know "Oh sh*t! My doors just locked"...LOL it was comedy!

i think it actually locks after 60 seconds if you dont open the doors when you unlock them. otherwise it'll just stay unlocked.

I checked the quick reference guide and you correct:

• Unlocking button: Open one of the doors within about 60 seconds, otherwise the vehicle will lock itself again automatically

what if u leave the keys on the ignition in the "off stand"...

If it locks at this time u might have to basch ur window :s
