I haven’t made any post in a while. After the incident with Stoneman (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209037) I wanted to stop buying random upgrades for my car. Well, my girl bought me a mountain bike for my 30 bday and well I got hooked. I went out and bought a Yakima rack and a second bike (Gary fisher hi-fi deluxe/not pictured).

My dumb ass tried to drive into my garage with my bike attached to the car and yeah I f-up my roof. I decided to paint it black, which is the common thing to do now a day. Since I still felt like a newb about the whole roof situation, I decided order a miltek exhaust from SPP. I found out from Eric that it would be on back order for two months, so I went ahead and ordered the rest of my Caractere body kit. Later I found out that the rear is fiberglass, which is crazy since it’s priced at $600+. Finally, I cancelled the rear bumper and ordered a carbon fiber splitter. Enough of my bitching….

but still, your car looks great!! You were buying an authentic caractere rear or replica? I believe only replicas are made out of fiberglass.

From what my dealer said, he could only get the real US spec in fiberglass. I am trying to go all authentic, except for my CSL reps (Hartmann).

i was thinking of getting the rear too but i didnt know it was made of fiberglass
do you have caractere side skirts?

I didnt damage the fisher in the accident.
I love the bike. I am still new the sport, but comming from a trek hard tail, its night and day. I feel like i am flying through the trails (mostly single track). also, the bike centers the body over the frame, so when turning into a sharp switch back it isnt that difficult. The only thing that i would change are the tires and maybe the brakes.

I do have to admit the fisher bikes have figured out a great geometry that seems to work well with many different riders of all aspects.

Did you ever get your money back from your CC or Paypal from the Symphony II+?
