    Installing fog light switch

I'm in the middle of installing some S4 fog lights on my car. But since my car wasn't delivered with fog lights from the factory I have to run my own cables back and fourth.

The problem now is how do I connect the switch? It has 6 pins but I guess I really don't need all of them. One have to be for constant power (12v) from the battery/fuse box, and one for power to the fog lights/relay.

The pins are marked 1-6, so I just wanted to know if anyone in here knew which pin = what?

    Thanks in advance!

^Much easier way to do this... Get a standard automotive relay. Run fused power to relay. Ground it and tap into parking light for the signal power. And power your fogs that way. So basically whenever your parking lights are on the fogs will be on.

the simple answer is that you cant use the stock switch. the stock setup has a fog control module which actually turns on the fogs. the switch itself is momentary. you could retrofit the fog control module in, but it is a lot of work.

what you need is a latching relay if you want to use the facelift style button. If you are using the pre-facelift which is sounds like you are doing then you can use the stock switch.
