Another noise for all you AudiZiners lol... No this one has nothing to do with my brakes, but with the engine and exhaust. Hopefully you know...

Ok so heres the deal; when im at a stop and I hit the pedal to the floor (not to the "extra" length at the end of the pedal, I hear the engine revv (normal for the CVT's) but with that I get this clicking noise! Also sometimes when im just punching it up the hill for shits and giggles I get it. It happens both when the engine is warm and cold.

What could it be?? CAT? -- Ill post sound clip next time im driving --

the best way to get going fast is to ease on the gas, not really punching it immediately. it happens when the rpms are too low huh? if you had them up higher and then punched it i bet it won't make the noise anymore.

its just the way that the cars are designed, when you open the hood and listen to the idle is it the same type of clicking you are talking about? if so, its normal.

Is it hot where you live? What brand of gas are you using. Sometimes in the hotter months your car's knock sensors will be audible do to the car trying to compensate for the hotter intake temps. I find that certain gas can actually minimize this a bit. I usually use Shell and it tends to reduce the knock. I live in the desert and it's pretty common here especially if you don't have a Fmic or water/meth injection.
