    doing the clear corner mod sometime this week or next weekend.. any tips? anyone else with a B7 wanna do it at the same time? i refuse to put my xenons in the oven, so i'm using a heat gun btw

    yeah heat gun is the best, i did not risk to put mine in the oven, just use a good sealant so it won't get fogy inside.

    Just a note - I did CC about a month and a half back. It is MUCH easier to bake than it is to heat gun. Heat gun takes way too long and also when you not as easy to seal it back. I started out with heat gun and concluded that it way too time consuming before switing to the tried and true baking method.

    preheat oven to 175, bake for 5 mins, pry it open with a flat head.

    Before you seal it back, just reheat both the housing cover and the housing for couple mins to get the glue plaible again. I find this way easier to get a good seal when I'm trying to put it back together

    Clamp and bake for 5 more mins. go through every edge with a clamp one more time just to make sure.
