    HID Fog lights installed (pics)

    installed my plug and play hid fogs. here is some pics















    camera on my phone kinda sucks, doesnt capture the colour of my hid lights and fogs very well. they both are blueish and match very well

    ill take some nighttime pics when it gets darker here

    fogs with parking light setting and headlights -- is that standard? (I thought only with headlights)

    LOOKS GOOD i had mines done couple of weeks ago but i went a diffrent with the temp. i did the 3000k yellow.

    thx, they are really bright at night, didnt get a chance to get pics. you almost cant tell the difference from DRL to actual headlight lol

    no they are true plug and play




    not sure what the K of the HID is bro, it looks to be 8k tho from the blueish tone if gives off.

    wofman, i believe its a canadian relay. all audis up here have fogs and blinkers for DRL. ive seen americans do mods to use our relay so they can get the same affect.

    There is a DYI to by using a jumper wire in fuse panel. If there is a better way (is using a relay, I'd love more info)

    i got em from bigmerle (thx again ) who got em from some dude that was selling em in the classifieds. merle posted a thread about it not too long ago about the shady ass deal. im glad it all worked out in the end though

    Is there a way to make it to do so?
    And what type of bulb does A6 fog use?
    Is it H7?

    mike, my a6 uses h3 i believe. i think the facelift models run h7 but i could be wrong. earlier in the thread it was mentioned about it being a canadian relay. all audis up here are like that

    in the 1 pic of the closeup of just the passenger side light you can see the ballast there. i couldnt find a very good place to hide it. anyone else whos done this could you share where your ballast is. its kinda temp, but i know i need to find a new place for it.

    well. mine's H7 and i heard only 04 sline and up are H7 everything else lower are H3. why not take out the fog and find out yourselves??

    Ok, H3...I knew but I forgot...got confused with my other car...like always...haha
    anyway, so does anyone know how i can convert the us relay to canadian relay like DRL uses fogs?
