Squeaking sounds on dips / rough roads

My car has 48,xxx on it and has a stock non-sport suspension. Sometimes when I go over dips or rough roads with bumps I hear noises after it rebounds. Kinda sounds like perhaps a squeaking sound?

Would it be the control arms? I'm trying to narrow it down so I can get it repaired under warranty.

    Thanks,
    Nick

check to see if your upper control arm bushings on the problematic side have any play in them

I had a similar problem; my friend figured out one of the screws on my exhaust was loose and rubbing. It's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to take a look at it.

Re: Squeaking sounds on dips / rough roads

It is funny you say that, I was driving a few days ago on a bumpy street and I thought I heard the same thing on the PSNGR side of the car. I couldn't tell if it was birds chirping as I was driving by or my suspension. Coming up on 50k, so for my last trip to the dealership under warrenty I am going to have them take a look.

Check outer CV joint and CV boot. The boot may be cracked and leaking out the packed grease. It can cause the squeaking sound.
