What is Revo stage 2 for the B5?

I know you posted about that cheap turbo kit, have you thought of just going with one of the Elim kits (RS or 71r) with the Revo BT 550cc tune that was just released a month ago for the 2001?

    Re: revo stage 2

There is no revo stage 2 for the b5 and they only have a BT file for the '01. I wish there was stage 2 for the b5 because I would go get it right now. You might be able to play with the tune a little to get similar results but there isn't much left to get out of the stock turbo.

    Re: revo stage 2

You must be talking about this... It's not available for your car.

Revo Stage 2 software has been developed to attain the best possible performance available from cars with simple aftermarket performance modifications. Stage 2 has been developed to use uprated injectors, a quality aftermarket performance exhaust system and a good air intake induction kit or filter. Furthermore, our Stage 2 software can be used with a de-cat exhaust for race or track use. The tuning style is more aggressive than the basic Revo performance software, and will typically yield 10-15% more useable power. Working in conjunction with an SPS 3, Revo's Stage 2 software can be finely tuned to each customer's preference of drivability.

    Required Hardware
225TT/S3 injectors or Bosch EV12 style 380cc alternative
    Full cat-back performance exhaust
    Testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor
    Optional Hardware
Front-mounted Intercooler (The intercooler is required if customer wants maximum boost)
    Cold Air Intake
    Turbo inlet pipe
    Stage 2 Software US$549.00
    2001.5 1.8t

GIAC FXK04 (Hammer) installed with a big fat cell...update, cell has been gone for a long time now but smells like it's running rich.

I will be upgrading to a GT2871r full kit, not eliminator kit soon but as for now i don't have the cash to to that job the right way, as the rods will need to be replaced, clutch, and will also do some head work....reason i just wanted to get the stage 2 upgrade is just so that i can get a lil more power until i have the cash to get the kit
