Spanked a new M5

Whipped a new M5 last night. Nice car but the guy couldn't drive. We hit some nice twisty roads and i was gone; he couldn't catch me at all.

Another kill for Audi, now i just have to find that 335i

Sorry he was driving to the best of his ability,....i'm hard to beat in the twisty sections of road whether on my bike or in my car. Without straights he was out classed in the driving area.

I've seen Miata's take down vette's at twisty tracks. No car can make you a better driver when the conditions call for all out driving skill.

Also in the end i beat the driver not the machine i know it is a superior machine however in the wrong hands things like last night happen.

thats because a miata weighs about 200lbs and has the same amout of power as your 2.8

the m5 wasn't really made for twisty roads, and too be honest, neither was a 2.8 A4. if he wanted he would still have romped you.

Straight line would've been a slaughter... my stage III S4 barely edged an M5.
As for twisties, maybe he just didn't give it 100%? I know I wouldn't... not worth the risk.

Idk why everyone thinks Audi's are amazing for twisty roads, they under steer like a FWD car. My 1.8T B5 handles well, but Bimmer's kill me. Almost neutral steering>understeer. The M5 would win out every time [except for an exceptionally shitty driver]

If i'm carrining 10-15 mph more of corner speed than the other person no matter what car he is in i will blow you away; a fact. His v10 means crap if he doesn't know how to put down the power down effectivly, a fact. I know how to carry alot of corner speed in my car; a fact. My car is great and set up for cornering and late braking(late braking is free HP in my eyes).

Until then, a 1996 2.8l A4 does not beat a V10 M5 (let alone a V8 M5) by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm guessing the other driver either didn't consider you serious competition OR he got the feeling you might do something reckless just to post about it online and didn't want to be involved.

I have tons of track expierence and race bikes amateur for very lil money. I know my ass and probably Michael Schumackers also isn't gonna be beating up on any 500hp car with a 170hp car. Unless that road had no straights wat so ever,while he had on winter tires,while he was drunk,while he was masterbating,while he had 9 spark plugs pulled out,while he was was puffin PCP, you couldn't have won. Good driving only goes so far, the old 2.8 in auto was a dog, couldn't handle worth a crap stock compared to a bimmer. And I got news for you, I have a 750 now track only bike, but use 2 spank it around the street for 2 years prior. The M5 is gonna take u after 140 or 150 true speed,not grossly inflated indicated in a straight line. Unless ur superior driving skills can do away with the laws of physics and aerodynamics. LMFAO. Lamest thread ever. Kinda like when the Honda Civic drivers think they beat my Honda 100 RWHP bike as I shifted away at 3K RPM on a 15K rev range the entire time puttin out the same power to my rear wheel as a John Deere.

THe point is you take corners to the limit hoping that your car doesnt slip off and fly off the road? He was probally just making sure nothing happend to his sic m5 haha. Thats like when a Honda pulls up to me and we are driving alittle faster then all a sudden the civic is flying all over the road weaving and making very sharp turns. I just laught and am like haha damn i wish i could be that cool:)

I can accept that claim that one driver drove faster than the other driver, but car versus car, that M5 wouldn't have even had to hit a redline to take the flag. Audis do not handle well. I can attest that my 16-year old BMW will out-manoeuvre my 6-year old Audi anyday with less bhp.

lol this is funny, here is the senario: You saw an M5 driving down twisty roads, and decided im going to race this guy and started gunning it. Guy in BMW is driving and doesent even realize you are there. your flying thinking shit im taking down an M5 when in reality he was driving at normal speeds and you were (racing) around the twisties. I dont care how good of a driver you are he has almost 3x the power of you and 4 more cilinders and 2.2 more L/displacment, if he wanted to he could have drifted past your ass on the outside of the turn while eating a sandwich while on the phone and inputting an address in the gps!
