    So I thought Quattro A4's and S4's used the same coilovers?

    I am planning on buying some eibach Pro street coilovers, and I have come to find that the a4 quattro and s4 have different part numbers. I always thought both cars used the same coilovers. Are the spring rates different or something?

    I'm pretty sure it's just the spring rates. don't quote me on that one, I haven't tried it personally. .... that's the kind if response you'd get on the 'tex anyways.... I'm not sure, but more pretty sure.

    S4 has a V6 engine in it vs 4 cylinder found in the A4.The Coilovers are practically the same but the lowering springs are not.

    Exactly. Plus it isn't going to hurt putting S4 coil overs into a A4 1.8t but I would never put a A4 1.8T coil over in an S4.
