well i've been bitching about how my radio never had radio... i always had it on cd, ot my ipod, or my zune or xm or sirius.. (yes i know i have too much crap but i love music so ) but anyways... i broke down and just got a simple replacement to my oem .. i ended up gettin a Clarion headunit... it fits my needs radio(FM only) bluetooth, MP3 off a sd card, and a aux input for all my other crap(ipod/zune/xm/sirius)... all and all i'm very happy.. the bluetooth works perfect and it even plays music off my cell.. so i couldn't ask for me.. anyways here are the pics

Ps. i found out why i didn't have radio either... the person who owned the car before me had ZERO idea how to do a radio instal and had tons of crap cut and and connected right... either way.. my car is fully working so

I am not a fan of single DIN headunits in a car made for a double but you did a good job. Go get that radio surround wrapped in CF to match the temperature control unit

Re: yet another ... new headunit

I understand 100% why people like aftermarket head units for the sound quality and options... However you never learn fully until you have experienced it all... Which I have done...

I bought my car with a symphony stock radio and I wanted to put speakers and another amp... So I went to the electronics place and they said I needed a new head unit so I bought the pioneer avic D1.. Double Din which fit ok... First off, I liked it but eventually it got so hard to navigate all its options, I then upgraded to the D2 which just had different nav software.. After that I started hearing alternator whine which after a lot of money spent on ground loop isolaters, I found the problem being a faulty headunit.

I have experienced alpine radios and kenwood radios in my truck, my brother had an eclipse unit in his old jeep so I have been around aftermarket stuff for a while. After my second pioneer, I did my research and found out that with a RNS-E or even the symphony radios, we could have EVERY and ANY OPTION that any aftermarket radios have. So I now have the RNS-E which navigation and radio functions are EXTREMELY GREAT and much more clearer, Blue Tooth which is sweet, SD Card MP3 Player which I do not need to play CD's, I-POD adapter and sirius or XM radio.. or even both. I could even have a reverse camera... and it is SO easy to navigate and switch through programs. Much easier than any aftermarket unit.... Just my .02 But I would hate looking at your small radio with such a huge space around it knowing that you could have a huge screen with navigation for just a little bit more $. + The RNS-E Is stock so it looks ideal!

HaHa, I was waiting for the flip out screen or something cool. That carbon fiber dash-kit doesn't look bad at all. I wouldn't be able to tell if the A/C controls weren't covered with it.

i completely agree with that. I have a kenwood single din headunit and hate it. I just bought a Pioneer touch screen sitting in my room waiting for me to find the time to install it.
