Axle/CV joint?

Picked up a 97 2.8, auto, quattro.

when making turns theres a slight shudder. The control arms look fairly new but i have not pulled the wheels off to fully inspect everything yet tho. the shudder feels like its comin from the front passenger side, no noises/vibrations when driving.

does this sound like a CV joint?

does it make a clicking sound? if so, then yes it is the cv joint

ill have to go listen for it again, i dont remember if it did or not. also, it seems to be worse with more throttle and dosent matter how far the wheel is turned
