Biggest wheels?

Hey guys,

Whats the biggest wheel size i can run on my 2000 Audi A6 without issues? I heard it was 18'? Is that correct?

go 19" it looks clean and still a good size and not to heavy.

depends on the model. also, what do you consider an "issue"? rubbing? performance (unsprung weight)? need more info.

My freind said that 19's would not work on my A6 2.8 because it would result in issues such as rubbing. Is that true?

You can run 19"s on your 2.8 with no issues...235/35/19, find a wheel that is 33-35mm off set -

Aw thats good to hear. Now I just need to decide what rims to put on it. Been debating between black rims or polished rims for my gold car. What do you guys think?

it really depends on the car color too,
I wanted black rims but would not look too good on my blue A6

If you run 20" you have to run like a 25 series tire, but they pop easy, and it depends if your car is lowered at all. I say 19" because they look big but still preform right. as for color, its your car and you have to drive it every day pick the color you like not what other people like.

I think the 20's run a 30 series... My wife has a 4.2 with 255/35/19's... the size for 20's (which barely clear the perch thing) should be 255/30/20...

my 20s are running 30 series, XL rated tires. F:245/30/20 | R:255/30/20.



I'm not quite sure what "pop easy" means...
