Stage 3 parts

Well....it finally howled at me when I got on it in second gear. I've been putting kits together online to try to lighten the load while I can pay some of this crap off.

From VASTperformance:
K04 turbos
Stage 3 clutch and resurfaced flywheel
snub mount
turbo hardware kit
timing belt kit

From 034motorsport:
K04 inlet piping

I don't have the funds for fueling, downpipes, exhaust at the moment but would after a few months. The only mods I've done to my car are GIAC and JHM shifter. Does that sound like a reasonable kit? I know this has been beaten to death but didn't know if someone had a better idea lately.

gut your stock dp's yourself, tbb, and dv's. but, looks good to me.

All of the stuff will be done at my VW/Audi dealer...I work there but know one of the techs. I don't want to bother with the downpipes at the moment because I want to get the JHM ones later. TBB has been replaced, forgot to mention that and the DV's can be installed at a later date. I'm just doing this so I won't get stranded somewhere. I still have to get to work and back but don't mind babying the car until I can afford fueling and exhaust. Thank you!

Ugh....now I don't know if I should just have them put new K03s and change the TB. I could get the K03s and TB at cost + labor. I really want a stage 3 car but after sitting down to go through the numbers, it's getting kinda ridiculous.

Did you all feel like this when your shit popped?

Well finally bought the K04s, inlets, and TB service stuff. Guy at my work bought the MTM stage 3 kit a while back ago and I went for a ride.....jesus christ. Definitely happy I decided to go stage 3- for the time being.

i pretty much have a full home brew fueling kit for sale in the clasifieds. im parting it out as well, so maybe you can take advantage of some of the parts.

i have greentop injectors
stage 2 giac x chip with ecu
rs4 acordian hose
83mm maf housing

let me know if your interested in anything.

You cant take the extra hour or 2 to smash out the pre cats? Its gonna make a sh*t load of
difference if your going stage 3

I plan on getting AWE Twin 1 or 2 with the JHM downpipes and I am not doing the turbo swap. I work at VW/Audi and they are doing it while I am working up front so I'll just have the downpipes, exhaust, and fueling done when I get some extra coin. I know it'll make a huge difference but so does money.

no gutting the pre cats wont cost you anything, and that would be better for the power/turbos without them. many people run piggie pipes on stg 3 altho the jhm are better i would still consider gutting the pre cats while the motor is out.

You are going to strain your brand new turbos pretty well if you don't at least change out or gut your downpipes. You don't want to go through this process a second time around.

There is no reason to put k03's back into a car.
