Question about OEM S4 bumper onto A4

I have a 2000 A4. I was involved an in auto accident earlier today. I took it to an auto shop. I've asked them to put an S4 bumper on it instead of the A4 front bumper. They said they would do that, I would just have to pay the difference in cost for the S4 bumper.

My question is can I re-use the same bumper shocks? Also what options do I have for fog lights? I'm guessing I will have to buy new fogs for the S4 bumper.

The a4 bumper was going to cost $592.00 so anything over that will have to come out of my pocket. Anyone have any other options they can suggest? Maybe I'd be better of going with a replica rs4 bumper?

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, I just couldn't find the answer I was looking for on the search.

The part numbers and pricing are in the B5 FAQ section.

The bumper will mount directly to 99.5+ bumper shocks.

The bumper does not come with washer caps, the cover for the euro plate spot, or grills.

Aftermarket fogs have better performance for less money. They tend to look better too.

Also are the headlight washers the same for the a4 and the s4? and the washer caps?

I found the part numbers for the bumper. Also for the grills. Are there any aftermarket foglights that fit nicely in the s4 grill holes?

Hella Micro DE have been used and look great. There are others that will also work well.

I can't help much with the other questions. The headlight washer system went in the dumpster along with the old bumper. The stock grills were cut out along with the center horizontal bars and then the aluminum mesh went in. The fogs are Hella FF75 driving lights but will be replaced with FF75 fogs before next winter.

I got an s4 bumper, the left and right bumper grill, and the center grill. I also got a set of s4 fog lights. The body shop should be done with it in a few days. I'll post pictures of it as soon as it is done.

The euro plate cover can be the hard part. The dealership wanted well over a hundred bucks for one. I ended up getting one from an audizine member for $15 shipped! Since everything else had already been painted and driven for a month I just sprayed the piece with Plastidip and put it on.

They list both for $456. Worth a few minutes online, then on the phone. Looks like they can get any and all OEM parts, as they are a VAG dealer. Bookmarked them some time ago when considering the S4 front conversion.

I didn't have to pay completely out of pocket. The insurance is paying the bill to replace it with a4 parts. Since the price of the S4 bumper is the same the insurance paid for that. However the estimate didn't include the cost of new grills or fog lights, as the ones on my a4 bumper weren't damaged. Since they weren't included in the estimate. I had to buy those few parts out of pocket. Which is a small price to pay to have an S4 bumper.

They also paid for a new wheel from audi, which had a small scratch. They had already ordered the new wheel, otherwise I would have had them given me the $350 credit towards some rs4 reps or something.

yeah thats my next mod. Im going to do that with an rs4 grill probably this week.

I've had my tint for a couple years, and only have been harrassed once. They measured it and it was showing at 3%, but let me go with a warning.

I'd like to smoke my tails. I even thought about getting the tinted lamin-x for the headlights and fogs but I fear it would cause bad light output from the hid's. I like the blackout look.
