Put in Hawk HPS pads, lost my anti-rattle clips

Installed Hawk HPS pads all around, and the front anti-rattle springs did not fit on the new pads. I put them on, without clipping them on the pads, and have now lost them. I wanted to do the pad clip change as described in http://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/410400.phtml but like an idiot throw out my OG pads, and that was compounded with my stupid belief that the clips would stay.

Any ideas? I was thinking just going to the Audi dealer and begging them for some old pads with the OEM clips on them, and then buying some S4 anti-rattle springs from ECS, but I am doubtful that that will be a successful.

Crap. I have Hawk Pads on order. I guess I'm going to have to do this mod as well. What a PITA!!!

That's strange, B7A4 Hawk pads have the correct clip for the anti-rattle spring.

I had Hawks on my B6 S4 and I used the S4 clips...
