    blacking out nagaro

Ok so like some of you might have seen i just got my s4 2004 nogaro!

Anyway i have blacked all my cars out to 'murder inc.' status in the past some of my coworkers were asking if i was going to put my signature wheels and parts on my s4.

I love black parts and what not but i dont know if the s4 is the car to do it on, i think the chrome trim is pretty sharp, what do you guys think about black rims on this car? I am really on the fence there will be a 20% tint but i am worried it will clash with the black wheels (talking flat black like oz ultras) just totally on the fence...

Another thought was to get some hartman lambo gallardo reps? In silver thoughts? Like i said i love black, but i am thinking this would go against the spirit here...Thoughts?

Wouldn't look terrible since Audi offers the titanium package. many members here have sprint blue B7's with it and it doesn't look too bad. Personally, I don't like the look on blue cars, on black, white, silver, gray cars maybe, but not on blue. It's up to your tastes, though. Search for some pics of sprint blue B7's with the titanium package and you will see.

Here are some pics I found of RAaud Driver's titanium sprint blue RS4 (not a B6 nogaro, but you get the picture)

meh...I don't like the gallardo's on that S4. Look way to big for the car and the chrome is ghetto. The design is similar to the stock Avus's. I would go in a different direction.

hot wheel design but chromes rims should NEVER be on an s4 just goes against everything it stands for...does anyone agree?

    Re: blacking out nagaro

so what rims are on that RS4? How did they black out the trim? i think the trim and mirrors are what is turning me against the black look...

I dont want things to clash to much, the grill as well...just lots of silver going on, my opinion is that if you go black you gotta black the rest no?

I hear that to, for some reason it doesnt flow with blue, i am not a fan of sprint blue at all it just doesnt do it for me

I am leaning towards staying silver and leaving the stock wheels on and keeping it clean, i like the clean nature of s4's its the mantra you know?

it's not like they are lotus elise type cars, they are subdued sleepers on the open road with the general public. Of course we all know what they are capable of but we are a niche group.

everytime i see an s4 with a carbon hood i want to punch babies you know...

Well, the wheels are stock RS4 wheels. The titanium package pictured above has almost no silver so I don't see where you are saying lots of sliver going on. On yours yes, but not on the RS4 above. Everything comes blacked out. The trim is just plastic so it is the titanium finish instead of the polished look that we have.

Like I said above, everyone has their preferences. You and me, we don't think blacked out looks good on blues, others like it. I like how the silver/polished aluminum stands out against the blue. Especially the mirrors, window trim, and grill surround.

How can you not be a fan of sprint blue when it is not much different than nogaro? Nogaro is just a little darker.

I think that's a good choice. The silver looks good with the blue. As far as wheels, there are lots of options out there that will still look good. BBS makes wheels that really compliment Audi's. The RS4 reps are really nice and look much better than the stock Avus's you have if you want to maintain the OEM look. My suggestion is to look at pictures of peoples rides and then decide on what you like and don't like.

I hear you man, it's not that i hate spring blue but i have a thing for nogaro i cant believe they dropped it (you know it will be back)...Anyway if it wasnt for nogaro i would be driving a black S4 and i agree with the compliment on the wheels, at this point i am going to focus on suspension to dial the thing in and look at wheels slowly, no need to rush into anything with this car.

so much fun to drive, the tranny is alot smoother than my bmw it's odd i still have the bmw and drove that today, 2 different worlds!

No rush at all. Enjoy the car like it is. The only thing I have is exhaust. I'll lower it when I can afford it and then I'll probably call it a day.

Again, congrats and have fun with it.
