Hurry and buy the new Automobile Magazine. They have on the front cover the giant 5 killers. 1 of those 5 is the new EVO. They compare it to an S4. The times for 0-60 and 1/4 are way off. I get a kick out of these Mags. Not saying the new Evo is a piece either

My biggest gripe with auto reviewers is their general bias towards pure sportiness, probably because they only spend a day with the car pushing it to it's limits at a track.

Read that yesterday.. forgot what they posted for 1/4mi, but I'm guessing it's not too far off performance wise since our cars are pigs and the EVO is a consumer level track car. I'd still rather be driving my S4 though...

They posted a 1/4 mile time of 14.4!!!! I am going to write in for the next issue asking them if they know that in a 1/4 mile you are supposed to push the go pedal down more than half way.

Even though it's not strictly a Euro mag IMO its the best out there by far!

i think he meant if he had read "0-60" magazine. its a fairly new mag that is not a monthly but a very good read.

did you guys read that post where some guy in his evo couldnt get up a steep grade in a parking lot because w/o his turbo spooled the car didnt have hte power to lug up hte hill? he had to have his passengers get out of hte car and still had to slip the clutch to go and then get the passengers back in... (this is a new evo x)
