Calling out Vendors/Tuners and everybody else for Advice

Alright guys hers the deal. Yesterday on the way home from work I heard I had a boost leak and was just trying to make it home. A few miles from my house the car started running like absolute shit. It was described here earlier in the forums but to no avail. It was spluttering bucking at anything over 2k rpm and pretty much any gas. I fixed the boost leak and took the car out to see if that fixed everything. However, now it runs a lot better, but not perfect so I think it may be the MAF. Also, one of my turbos is nearly dead, or the other alternative is that it is dead and thats why the car is doing so badly. Regardless, I want a remedy to the entire situation, turbos and all. I had a continental warranty until I read in another thread they will sell warranties to rebuilt cars, but not honor them, so I got my money back.

Pretty much what it comes down to is I am looking for a bare bones, basic k04 kit that I can bolt on with all required hardware included. I'm talking stage 3-----. Eventually I will buy upgraded ICs, clutch, fueling etc. But for now this is all I can afford, the bare minimum for which my car will drive and be semi reliable. I will also be buying a SSAC exhaust to install at the same time. I have an APR chip with a home programmer so I can run whatever basic file without buying a stage 3 file. That should work alright on the K04s correct? Thanks in advance for the assitance and vendors I expect my Inbox to be packed with great offers as I am looking to buy in the near future and best deal gets it.

"All you need" is K04s and Inlet Piping. Around $2,700 for those parts.

Plan on $1500 installation. Make sure you get hardware and gaskets with your K04s, and see 034 Motorsport for the inlet kit. (The stuff isn't a perfect replica, but it should work fine.) Also, invest $40 in an MBC so that your K04s don't spike hard on K03 code.

    Ko4s are $2,200 (when I got mine) and $500 for inlet piping/hardware.

And I got a lot of things done, that price doesn't include labor or anything. Just the 'bare minimum' parts only.

I got my K04s from ACHTuning for $2050 shipped. I got my inlets from 034 for $375 shipped. Good luck, hope you have a nest egg or something to fall back on.
