If my car is done in time, I might be willing to make the drive out to CC from Moorpark. A lot of freeway driving + radar detector = fun.

Kyran, do make the drive. I'll love to see your ride, and compare notes. More Audi's needed.

I am actually getting my manual tranny swap, K04, and injectors put in. I dropped the car off on Tuesday at Ingolstadt West on Canoga Ave in Woodland Hills, and Ian the head mechanic over there, who I have become good friends with, said the car would be down for about a week. I am really excited to get it back.

If you have not heard about the shop, they specialize in Audi VW and Porsche and are a registered APR dealer.

I found them recently. They VAG'd my CEL for free and offered great service. They have been highly recommended by everyone I've heard from. Planning to have them get my 928 running. That resume between the two of the partners is pretty impressive.

Hopefully your car will be done. I actually dropped mine off at Pacific Audi this morning for the final tune and check under warrenty. Driving a rental car right now. So I am hoping mine is done as well. Would be a bummer if I have no car after encouraging you to come. I can't show up in a Chrysler rental. No reason mine shouldn't be done, so hopefully see you there.

Too much lousy timing going around. My car is still in the dealer service bay as well. Was looking forward to meeting you and checking out all your new toys. Next month for sure. Want to hear about how you like your K04 when you get your car back. Keep me posted.

Re: OFFICIAL: ALL Euro Meet in Canyon Country 7/17/08 *NEW SPOT*

Rich, so is the Euro scene offically dead in the SCV? That was sad tonight. I hung in the parking lot in my rental P.O.S. since my car is in the shop, in case any Audi guys showed up. I finally left about 9:50.

I think the new location is better. If I can offer some thoughts- if you say it starts at 9, I think we need to be there at 9. I got there at 9 and watched several nice modded Euros roll through, wait a bit and then bail. I don't want to put all the responsability on you, but some one needs to be responsable to get things started. I don't mind being first, (if I had my car), but anyone would start to feel stupid being there by themselves after awhile. Would it be better to start at 8? For those of us that work in the morning, that may be better. I know you've been doing this awhile, and you may have tried that. Maybe lots showed after I left. Maybe it would be better to say 9:30 if thats when people can get there.

I also think we, should park in a more prominent location. There was a whole row of spots open across the lot from Panda, in front of the closed businesses. I think people need to see you, and maybe generate some interest from anyone passing by.

I looked forward to this all month, and was pissed my car wasn't ready. I am not bagging on you, at all. I appreciate you trying to organize this. I am just offering suggestions. I will help any way I can, let me know what I can do to make this happen. Sorry to do this on the forum, but it's the only place I know to get in touch with you. To next month

what car did you roll up in? The Euro scene isnt dead at all, I think what it is... is just bad timing from month to month... we seem to get WAY peeps in winter... maybe to many people are away right now...

MORE support from all the clubs would be good seeing as this is the only meet past the 5/14 split...

We'll just keep it going and try to get the word out for more to come...

Great to see more came after I left. What time did most get there? Looks like I left too early. Pics should get more people out, good call. I was in the blue Chrysler convertable lurking on the corner. I should have been more sociable, and at least said hi. Keep up the good work, and I will keep trying to get some Audi's out.
