Smile Parking light bulb holder melted!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My left parking light blew, and apparently as I was told by my service guy, the bulb holder had melted and he was unable to replace the bulb. Mine were retrofitted xenon lights with the projector housing and I was advised to have the complete left housing replaced!

Any idea what could have caused this ? I'm determined to find out why, so that the same thing doesn't happen again when I have the replacement done.

    Thanks,
    Edgar

what kind of xenon lights did you have? haven't heard of the actual xenons/HID's to cause melting but i know the Hoen city lights tend to melt alot of housings. Was it just the xenons that you had or did you change some of the other lights as well? Lucky for you the Halogen housings are cheaper then the xenon ones!!
