    I think the mounting is different - that's why you can't just swap 2.8/S4 leather seats into a 1.8T I think

    So if i have no power seats in my 2000 1.8t will 2001 2.8 seats fit into my car or no? need to know asap b4 i make this purchase someone plz shed some insight

    Will they fit...yes. Is is a straight bolt in...no. The seat tracks are different. They can be made to work...but it means cutting and welding. Also wiring to make the power features work.

    They fit, but you'll have to reenginner the rails, etc. No such thing as a free lunch, or we'd all have done it.
