You didnt prep properly, I plastidipped my grille, the chrome and plastic a year ago and have not a single chip.

yea, i have had it on my grill for about 6 months now and it still looks new.

how many layers did u put? i sanded first, then put a layer. let it dry, another and so on until i had 5 separate layers. looks gorgeous now...

yeah my grille came out amazing and has lasted. i did the sand/multiple coats method as well. plasti-dip is definately where its at!

please dont use plasti dip on your engine components. my valve cover and intake manifold are powder coated, not painted with plasti-dip.

yup.....you have to choose one or the other:

EIther have a peeling switch with lights or have the whole thing plasti-dipped. I am so glad I plastidipped my switch! I just wish I did it earlier.

oh an martini, I went ahead and dipped all my covers too Something so discreet looks so much nicer!
