    Stupid Question

Is there anything different about the valet key as far as the how the engine works? I know you can't open the trunk or glovebox. Does it limit boost at all?

I give the stealership the valet key and when they give the car back I often forget to switch back to the normal key and the car feels sluggish.

Is this normal audi mood swings or does the valet key do something extra special?

    Thanks
    Marty

    Re: Stupid Question

are you sure your chip is active?

If the stealership disconnected the battery, your ecu might be in stock mode . If you have 2 programs say (stock and 93 oct).

I doubt key you use has any significance. my car feels fine with the valet key.

I only have one program the 91 octane, I think I was just expecting to feel slower with that key so it did. The human mind is an amazing thing
