pics of trailer hitch?

i know i know, how ridicolous, i know....my dad wants me to put a hitch on the a4 so i can pull the utility trailer around and do errands around town...he said its a hide away but idk i told him absolutely not lol seeing as how he bought the car for me and puts a roof over my head, its gonna be hard to say no if he really is for it...hopefully at least one person has one so i can see how it looks, im hoping if he does make me put it on and its hidden it wont be TERRIBLY bad...thanks

Being a dad myself, albeit I wouldn't subject my son, at least I think I won't, to such an embarrassment. I think you already know what to do. Your dad raise him a good kid, one that deserves the roof over his head, the food on the table, taught you how to play ball and gave you a nice set of wheels...

My uncle was a dairy farmer and put a hitch on his corvette....talk about embarrassment, but hey sometimes you need to pull a wagon with your sports car....

I read in the owners manual that it is not a good thing to tow with our cars.

Its perfectly fine to tow with your car, there is no difference between towing 1000lbs and carrying 5 people... its all weight.

I have a hitch on my car, I use it to pull my track bikes that arent street legal. Its not that unsightly, but you can see it. I actually use my car, so I dont mind it.

It does have tendency to make girls scream and run the other way in horror though, so thats a downside that you'll have to live with. At least you'll still have an A4 though.

We all love our cars but they are also a tool to get us where we need to go including our passengers and stuff... people trash having a roof rack but hey its my car and it gets me to the Mountain in style... if your dad needs you to tow some stuff I say do it and take the hitch off when you don't need it.

I emailed the guy about that hitch and it seems easy enough to build. I may try to make one for my car. Does anyone have a detailed pic of the bumper supports? I'd rather see a pic before I take my bumper off to make sure it's even possible to install on our cars.

I also trailer my racebike with my car and I hardly know it's there. You're not going to pull a heavy enclosed trailer but my 4x8 open trailer works great for a motorcycle and a scooter.
