Worth it to get Race File?

Advance timing, change the a/f map....ect all so that you can fully take advantage of the higher fuel rating. Also, dont use leaded gas if you have cats.

i have no cats, and have used 109 leaded in the past (w/o cats) with no problems to the 02's either.

lead won't kill the O2's instantly, but it definitely decreases their lifespan...

And yes, a race file is worth it for sure.

Just run VP 110 unleaded and yes the race program is worth it with one turbo and two less pots.

try like 445 now from awe.....fucking rip-off. Yes it's a nice addition, but serious on the almost 500?

why would you not? for $125 you could gain around 35 whp with that file, just look at J-tec's ko4-20's dyno chart

I've been wanting to try the race fuel, but I'm not going to a track. How would I go about just burning through a gallon or so? (when to put the gas in, when to change the file, and when to revert back to pump file?) I just don't want to run the race file with pump still in the tank and don't want to run pump while race is still on file. Understand?

Also, where can I order the fuel from?

Just add MBC and turn up the boost and the timing with lemmi and add some race gas .

On my 1.8t Ive ran 110, went through at least 15 gallons of it on old 02's and I was just beginning to throw intermittent codes.

The beast is down. I blew a K04 last month and tore out the engine...I decided to spice things up a bit. Unfortunately the new manifolds won't be ready until after WaterFest, so my car will be a bunch of pieces. But I will still be in attendance.

I've ran VP MS109 unleaded octane in my car and it was hands down the best unleaded gas I have ever put in my car. Even without a race tune, it made a big difference.
