help!!!

So about an hour ago I was coming home from school and right when I merge on the highway my CEL comes on. I start to coast at around 55-60 hear a loud sound of rushing air and only boosting 5 psi (limp mode) when I boost 18-19. I pulled over the side of the highway and seen nothing wrong I though a intercooler hose blew off but it didnt, checked the tbb yesterday no rips, so i continued home and in about another 10 mins. at WOT it boost 15-16 and the boost guage was fluttering back and forth. Im going to get it scanned later but does anyone know what it might be or to check for?

boost leak test, and post your cel codes.

Could be your maf sensor. Those are known to go after you get a chip. I've changed mine 3 times already. Try plugging it out and see how the car feels....It doesn't really explain the loud rush of air, but still worth a shot.

Boost leak. You say you checked your tbb yesterday but this happened a few hours ago. I've blown my boot clear off the inlets and the car would still run until I tried to boost.

turbos are fine check the maf and get some cel codes.

Sounds like a large boost leak to me. My car was boosting fine but the guage was fluttering at higher boost then it would go into limp mode like yours. Found a boost leak and problem solved.

also i have a exhaust leak that I didnt find yet its not huge but its noticable would that have anything to do with it? I wish I had a VAG to get the code
