Definitely the top one. That second one looks like something a person found laying in the shop and threw it on. Atleast its grade 8 though lol. Prince at Vast can get you an OEM one if you need it. Hes helped me with alot of miscellaneous bolts and hardware.

Re: 2 different axle nuts, which is correct?

The top one is OEM, the bottom one is an OEM replacement. The bottom bolt has been removed and replaced before, which is why this one is there now. I like them better than the OEM bolts (obviously easier to work with).

Yeah, to hell with that OEM bolt. The 17mm bit to work it is near impossible to get a hold of. I happened to misplace mine the last time I had to service a CV joint... oh the frustration.

bottom ones are oem replacement like jordan said, whenever someone does a cv boot repair the kit comes with the bottom one for you to replace... i have the bottom ones currently and are MUCH easier to work with

    I don't know what's in that photo.

Ours (stock) are 17mm front, 14mm rear.

Re: 2 different axle nuts, which is correct?

As others have said, the top one is OEM and the bottom one is OEM replacement because I have the bottom one installed since I got the outer boot replaced a week ago.

27mm sounds about right so ill just try that size out first and see what happens
