    Question A few VAG-com questions

    1) is there a write up or does anyone know how to reset the the millage on a new cluster, after replacing the old one because of the shitty info screen??? Also with that installation, the EPC light came on... wasn't on before I switched. Do I need to clear something in VAG-com?

    2) is the TCU from a 00 A4 1.8T fwd the same as the TCU used in a 1.8T quattro? If not, can something be coded in VAG-com?? Thanks to all you who hopefully answer

    3) i need to find a shop locally to install my GIAC chip, any ideas? The local GIAC dealer does not do it IN-shop.

    Dont know about 1 /3, but im pretty sure for #2 you can recode with vag

    Just had a vag question and didn't want to open a new thread for it. Should i vag the car with the car running or only in the ignition position without starting? Thanx.

    Pretty sure you do it with the ignition in the ON position, but engine not running. To log runs, you'd obviously need the car running.
