How to make a damage claim to Chicago authority?

City streets damaged my car... caused the oil pan to leak out oil so that pan needs replacing. I really don't feel inclined to pay for it since I did nothing but drive my car. How do I make a damage report/claim so they compensate me for having totally shitty roads that my taxes pay for?

Driving in Chicago is terrible, I'm constantly swerving in and out to avoid holes, when the hell are they going to fix the roads I have no idea, but hopefully it's soon.

they're re-laying out the highway which is good... will consider coilovers and rims now. some towns are just horrible... either the town is getting too ghetto for the town hall wanting to fix it or they just don't have the money for it.

Working for State Farm, your best bet is to put in a claim. As with the DMV, the City takes forever. There is a form you need to fill out.

Shouldn't go up at all, your not at fault the city is. 9 out of 10 it gets subrogated and the City pays. I can't really say details for the fact that I am not a claim rep.

And every company is different, obviously if you have State Farm your positioning yourself better allready. I have made another post with all relavent information.
