See Through Tires (Tweels)?

Radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires. They had a pair at the Philadelphia car show. These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires. These are actual pictures taken in the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

Just think of the impact on existing technology:
A. no more air valves...
B. no more air compressors at gas stations...
C. no more repair kits...
D. no more flats...

Hasn't been posted in the S4 forum as far as I can tell...so I've never seen it before. It's been posted in other forums, but I don't troll around the other forums.

I like the idea but execution is retarded as hell. Look at that side shot ... fugly.
Looks like these should be on a Model T haha.
But seriously, they could've made the look the same as current tires but use this new technology.
