I currently have 6 tents lined up for us to huddle under from the sun/rain. If anyone else has a canopy tent that they want to bring. Let me know so I can factor it into the equation.

RaketeS4 (Ryan) says that he will bring his grill.

We still need people to bring some burgers/dogs/etc. Feel free to list anything food related that you can bring. This will help people know what they can add to balance the load. (we don't need 6 people bringing the same items...)

Coolers of ice/water/other drinks are definitely encouraged. Be warned, it will get HOT out there. You will get thirsty. Dur.

Very important, make sure to bring your own chair. If you don't have one, buy one of those pop-up stadium chairs. They are cheap at closeout stores like Big Lots.

I will bring some food. Currently, I plan to bring a box of hamburger patties and some buns. I will grab chips of some type too.

As for the rest of you, start listing what you have to offer to the inventory.

as Brett said, i'll be bringing my portable propane grill. it's pretty big and we'll definitely be able to turn out a lot of burgers for any hungry 'ziners

We could always use water because of the heat. Sign me up for a couple cases of water. Or do we want more meat? Which do we need more of? Let me know and I'll bring what I can. I might be able to get meat through my part time job for a little less than at the store. Can't promise that though. I have to talk to my boss on that one.

Just to get an idea on the water, a 32pack of 12oz bottles is like $5 at Sam's club/BJ's/Costco. If each person drinks 2 waters, and 60 people show on one day, that's 120 bottles of water. So......

If we can line up 4 32packs of water we should be good to go. I doubt we'll really consume 128 bottles in one day.

As for the meat situation, hamburgers and hot dogs are great. Sausages or sausage patties would be cool too. The question is how much do we buy without people having to blow too much out of pocket?

We'll all have to score ice in the East Brunswick or near the track if we want it to last all day. We'll have to sort that out ahead of time for sure.

Well I could see tomorrow if I can get us some meat on the cheap through my work. I have a feeling for the quantity I would have to get through work, it may be a little pricey for just me to pick up. I could definitely pick up some cases of water though if needed. I'll keep ya posted on what burgers, dogs and whatever would cost (or better yet, what I can afford to pick up.).

Sports Authority in NY has a sale on them 2 for $12. I got two today and it looks like they have 3 pallets at the one that I went to.

Yeah I went to the mall section and could only find stickers. That's why I asked Brett if he would have any shirts there. I definitely wanna buy one. Just wanted to see what's available. Wanted a couple full color stickers or maybe a window banner but I'm not big on stickers and figured that might be a little big. Wanted to see those in person if there were any available before I bought them. If there are no tshirts, I have an aquaintance that prints shirts, but I'm sure a bunch of people on here have similar hook ups.
