Video (AWD Launching 101) Compilation of JHM cars

My good friend made this for me. He is also best friends with the owner of VAST, so hence the Detroit intro. All these cars are customers of mine (JHM) and located in CA, just in case there is confusion. Also my car is in there of course.

Some of the footage is new and some of the footage is old. But a great compilation nonetheless. I didn't even know he was making this video, it was quite a surprise that he took all the video I had shared with him over the past year.

well I wish it was that easy... not just 1 hour ago (before I saw this great video) this happens immediately after a moderate 3-4K launch...





I'm just wondering/hoping nothing else it bent besides the lower right rear control arm (i.e. axel, etc.). Does the axel have any play in it of am I basically f-ed?

Dont think it was the launch that did that, most likely something hit the wheel causing it to be pushed back very hard.

Now maybe if he was launching the car very hard in reverse.

yeah Im a little stumped on the whole thing myself cause the roads were clean and clear and and a moderate (not agressive) launch w/ esp off. Oh and I was in first gear...

The control arms are complete POS. NEVER BUY FCP Grotten (ebay) parts! I learned my lessen.

for real, but every test they do they show the awd getting off quicker, but then usually falls behind.

Should be getting larger groups for track visits and more and more footage is amassing.
