New Side Skirts?

I'm about to purchase Avant Garde Side skirts but the guy doesnt have the mounting equipment. do you guys think it would be really difficult to find an alternative way of mounting them? also in general can you keep the stock lower door trims with aftermarket side skirts? here is a picture of the skirts



does it seem that stock lower door trim can work with these skirts?

As in not OEM. It's trim guard. OEM will fit with those, if that's what you want. Trim once pulled will never seat right again, it's the luck of the draw if you get to pull it and have it go back on the same. You don't need any hardware for mounting them. 2 sheet metal screws with good washers with the neoprene skirt (prevents cracking the skirts) up front and in the rear along with 3m tape underneath the whole length of the skirt and you're done.

I have the reps, which are what you're looking at buying. True A!avantgarde skirts are impossible to get.

Nice skirts, i knew a guy that had them and they look liked the next best thing compared to the s4 ones.

Here are the same ones on my Black A4. You don't need anything special to mount the side skirts. Remove the stock side trim (in door jam), then put avantgardes on with double sided sticky tape and a single screw in each end (in wheel well). Remove door trim and cut it, keep it off, trim the pins, or use trim gaurd. With a black car the pins don't bother me on mine...

Well even though they were initially meant for my silver A4, I am still glad I jumped on the GB and ended up with them on current car. Cursh kept saying he wanted to buy them, then let his car fall apart. Finally figured it was time to put them to use (instead of leaning in bedroom corner)..
