    could someone answer this?
    what type of wheel bolts are needed for the '06 S4 18" premium wheels (BBS Challenge)?
    is it "Ball" seat or "Conical" seat?

    Hey Kool, what is it! Ball or Cone?

    That was actually a good question as Audi uses the 2 piece ball bolts and ball seat and BBS uses a cone bolt into a cone seat.

    according to Mike, Audi OEM wheels use the same "ball" seat bolts.
    '06 S4 18" premium wheels were made by BBS, but my guess is they were manufactured specifically for Audi thus having the ball seat, unlike the conical seat found on the typical BBS wheels.

    stock audi wheels are ball
    most aftermarket are cone.
    i bet your right that bbs made it ball because it was audi factory...
