Hey guys. I'm about to buy a new a4, but I noticed this low mileage TT on ebay. Any comments on the pros or cons of this car? Are there any potential problems I should be aware of?

Hmmmm, I am thinking maybe 19k miles.... Also, I have found 3.2's don't have many quick mods(bolt ons). Aside from that, looks sharp!

car is SWEET! love it.

already looks hot as hell- you dont have to do much to that badboy other than lower it, and you would be good to go IMO.

A+ all the way. that mileage is sick!!

Did a quick search over at the AudiWorld TT forum, and it seems that many people have a low opinion of this special edition. Main complaint is that Audi didn't install heated seats or a premium sound system as they originally promised. One guy even says there are empty button holes where the heating adjustments should be.

I have to agree with you guys--despite the bashing, it's a sweet looking vehicle.

hmm i didnt know that they lacked the options. mine has premium sound and heated leather, and i wouldnt wanna live without them. its still a cool and rare car and with that mileage i guess its as close to a mint car as you will find. are you sure the mileage isnt a typo??

Not a typo. They've got a blue one with about 10,000 miles. The cars were used by audi execs--evidently, they didn't sell too well. Still looks like a nice car that can probably be had for a good price.

I'll have to think about it, Scott. It looks like they have three of these, all at around 2,000 miles, so I should have time to decide. I'll also have to drive a TT locally. I like the smooth ride of the a4 on our bumpy roads here in Washington, so I'll have to compare.

Nice, but not special. Get a lighter 1.8/225, and mod the hell out of it. But if you're into collecting, it might fetcha price one day IF YOU DON'T DRIVE IT.

My TTQC is 116K miles and going strong. Like the B-bodies, it needs the right attention. Give it, and enjoy!

Get the TT 3.2, it's basically an R32, and those cars aren't exactly neglected compared to the 1.8T. If you are into modding then don't get it. Most people get an A4 for practicality. If you can live with a 2 seater sports car then what the heck are you waiting for? If a good deal is the only reason why you are considering this car....then maybe a TT isn't for you. It's certainly not for everyone.

I'm not into modding. Will probably drive about 7,000 a year. My main concern is a cool, comfortable ride. I'd give up the back seat if the front seats on the TT are more comfortable than the a4. I'll have to drive a TT and see how it compares to the a4 on bumpy roads.
