Polishing aluminum pipes

Where in the Bay Area (preferably in the South Bay) can I get aluminum pipes polished?

Can this be a DIY? If so, what is needed?

i polished some of my alum stuff with gun polish. works pretty good. but takes a while

i'm going to try a paste polish first and see what that does. it it works, we can meet up if you like and i can show you the results. i'm hesitant to use a machine as i don't want to burn the metal.

there are certain alums that can be polished, some that can't.

but even the ones that you can't, can be made to look a'ight.

a DIY is easy, just time consuming. if you are patient, you can DIY.

and sorry, I don't know of any shops.

Check out Wheel Techniques / Sik Industries. They do great wheel repair and also do alot of polishing, chroming for motorcycles. They might be able to do something for you. They are right off of 101.
