    Brembo 355 fitment (B5 S4)

Curious as to the fitment of a few wheels...I understand clearance is a huge problem, so all mentioned wheels are 18". Feel free to throw out known fitting suggestions...The current HRE 540Rs are too much of a hassle my area...I need something that's not as soft

    Flik Justice
    Flik Arctic
    OZ SL
    OZ Chrono
    VMR RS4
    BBS LM
    BBS CH
Sportec Mono 10 (Are these soft?)
    SSR GT-3

Also, any comments from owners of any of these wheels as to quality, fitment and durability are welcomed.

We have access to the SSR, BBS and OZ wheels you mentioned. Only the BBS CH (18x8.5" or 19x8.5" ET 35) and the OZ SuperLeggera (19x8.5" ET 32) are a good fit. Also consider the OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 or 19x8 ET35 as an option.

    Will 18" CH's clear Brembo 355's?

I have the Brembo 6pot kit and my BBS CH's (18x8.5/et35 and 19x8.5/et35) and OZ SL's (18x8, et32) cleared....there was more space with the SL's. Here are pics of the CH's in 18s and the SL's. I don't believe the Cronos or LM's will work (although a spacer may rectify the problem). In terms of quality/durability, can't go wrong with BBS. The SL's may present an issue because they are discontinued and some of the olders ones were proned to crack. The OZ UL's I hear may be a little soft. I can't speak as to the rest.

Greatly appreciate your reply. The brakes look gigantic in 18" wheels!

Thanks for the help guys. I wish there was a solid wheel that fit over these...Seems everything is either ridiculously expensive, or very soft. Some are both....

Any more information would be helpful.

Our VMR V708's start at $699 for a set of 18" and $799 for 19". JWL and VIA certified. We have not had any complaints on our wheels being "too soft" or bending easily. We have sold wheels to handfuls of customers in areas with horrible road conditions and they have not had a problem. We have also taken our wheels to the track with some off road excursions. And to add, our rs4 reps have a huge line of bbk clearance. If you have any further questions feel free to let me know!

    Thanks,

Can't speak to the Ultralegg. being "soft", but most of the durability issues come from guys running 19" fiments in the Midwest and East coast (otherwise know as "Potholelands"

Well...I somehow managed to crack the barrel of an HRE. This was not an incident where I hit something, and pulled over for fear of a bend....But rather...Noticed air leaking, and discovered a crack.

After reading up on other Minnesotans with HREs...It seems this is pretty common. $1500/wheel for something that will crack won't fly by me.

I just picked up a set of OZs as temporary replacements, and eventually track wheels....

So which of the VMR reps fit? In what offsets?

If I were to go the tirerack route, I'd definitely go down the BBS CH line....

    Both tempting offers.
