The gauge kit will include:

Drop-in vent gauge pod
Mechanical boost gauge - with a range of up to 30 psi (boost), and -30 mmHg (vacuum).
Boost gauge wiring harness
Rubber vacuum hose - 10 ft long
In-line vacuum line filter
Vacuum hose T-tap
Assorted wire taps
Misc. additional mounting/installation hardware
*The gauges come with either amber or white illumination, both will have an illuminating red gauge needle.

The gauge comes in either red/amber illumination OR white illumination. Not both, it is just one or the other.

I've always wanted a boost guage, but I've always had something better I wanted, but I would actually like one. The one thing that has held me back was installing it because I never got the idea of how I would run the tubing through the vent into the engine to the vacuum hose ? The idea seems like its pretty hard since you cant stick your arms down the vents or anything. How easy is it to install for a begginer ?

The vents actually just pop out if you apply some pressure. With some patience it should be fine. Just go slow and get a buddy to help.

i did it to my B5 A4. i had to drill a small hole through the inner a/c vent to get the tube from the engine bay. i thought the install was very easy but it took about six hours with a friend. just take it slow and do it right.

i love this gauge but i cant decide on the color. white or amber guys?

if you have a b6 don't worry...it is simple even the running the tube part.. Don would probably let you know how it is done..

^just follow any of the DIY's that are up... it's not hard at all. if you're really REALLY worried about it, just stick some semi-stiff wire (thicker than string, thinner than a coat hanger) down from the vent and fish it out, then tie it to the hose and run it up through. should take no longer than 30 mins, and that's only if you have to undo panels or drill holes.

including modifying my ash tray and things under it to hold the gauge - my install only took me about an hour from start to finish.

We do not currently have a set date, on how long the introductory price will be offered, on our gauges.

Shipping to Canada via USPS is $15-20 dollars.

The gauge is our own brand of gauge. We did a lot of testing on it, to make sure that response and accuracy was there, before putting it into production.

The gauge is a little bit smaller than 2"

Routing the tubing through is very easy. You can literally hand off the hose from one hand to another, as you feed it through the vent/duct area. You just need to take off the driver side under panel, which is all of 3 screws.

It seems as though it woul dbe hard to read what boost level you are at from teh drivers seat.....

Oh no...I have a sweet gauge at 2 1/16" that I pulled from my old Mustang. It looks like your current gauge/vent setup is a tight fit so I may not be able to squeeze my gauge in there

I would really recommend for people to use the supplied gauge in our kit. It is very accurate and responsive. We have had zero problems with the gauges.

Oh I wasn't trying to knock on your gauge or anything, I figured since I had one that I loved using before I could just use that. However the point is moot really as it will not likely fit.
